From 2nd – 9th October, Run Vie, Vienna’s Hip Hop, Street Art & Electronic Music Festival returns to the city. Unfortunately our German is a touch too basic to tell you all the details but we certainly recognise enough of the acts playing to know it’s gonna be a good one. From Derrick May, the Detroit Techno pioneer to Stone Throw’s new Soul slinging Golden Boy Aloe Blacc, plus a particular penchant for such Chrome favourites as Free The Robots, Dorian Concept and Robot Koch, there is definitely enough exciting music in store to make us consider a road trip. To further outline this fact, Run Vie have put together a free compilation of music from some of their line up, with help from Carharrt, one of the Festival’s sponsor’s. We've been bumpin' the new Alien Entertainment and Black Canvas EP for a little while now, and although it took some time to grow, the Dub Fiction 80s Mix of Soundclash is now on heavy now on heavy rotation.
