Video Killed The Radio Star

Been a while since we posted anybody else's dope videos up here so...

We've always had love for the Seclusiasis label on here but this video from Warsnare and Fille de la Lune properly blew me away. Not heard the EP yet but I'm off to get a copy as soon as I've written this post.

Dark moody swagged out business from Black Dahlia, a dope new project from one of our favourite producers, Blue Daisy and rapper Hey!Zeus.

This is probably our favourite thing right now. Pure sunshine vibes from our South Wales compadres, Metabeats, Vanity Jay and the Associated Minds family. 80 Boogie Meets 90s RNB, Meets Future Funk... and that's just the video. Complete win.

This SOPHIE track hasn't got a video to go with it as such but as their only sending out YouTube promos and I'm feeling it, here it is.

Time Of Kastle

Kastle is fast becoming one of our favourite producers and Seclusiasis have proven themselves once again to be the perfect link between the street, the club and the chin stroking anorak massive with their latest release, strutting around 6 tracks deep, with a completeness that is commendable considering it's contrasts. We have excess love for the title track which is classic UKG 2-Step stretched between a modern Glitch coating and stabs of rave influence and also 'Bring Me Back', which marches around powerfully around the Grime, Broken Beat, Dubstep and Garage territories. I think a favourite though may possibly be found in 'Walking Away', which ventures confidently into the realms of daytime radio, with a sweetly sung hook and rapper Armanni Reign effortlessly and skillfully tripping rhymes over a Summertime sanctioned crisp half-step beat.

The fellas have given us a copy of 'I Know' to give out from the EP, it's a clean purple tinted rave outing that sways around with it's hands in the air before jumping into a 2-step demon that is guaranteed to decimate a dancefloor.

Feel Like A Numan

We've been absolutely loving the latest Numan release Skull Crusher, especially the remix from Capricorn One aka Elucid and El Carnicero. They've taken the original Dubstep track and flipped it into the kind of pimped out space age sounds for your lowriding hover car that almost feels like hearing Kool Keith's Dr Octagon album for the first time. You can pick up a copy of the EP over at Juno but those nice fellas at Seclusiasis have dropped us an exclusive remix for you all from SDUK (whose Clunge EP also dropped on the label last week).

Better Believe It

You gotta love Starkey for letting us satisfy our MTV Base side in a respectable manner. A worthy outake from his Street Bass Volume 4 album here but if this is still a touch too wet look gel for some of you guys you could do worse then pick up the BD1982 album Let's Talk Math on Starkey's Seclusiasis label now.
