First mail of the year comes from King Deluxe who sent us this lovely Rome & Juliet / West Side Story style animation by Martinus Klemet. The track used is Calvin Cardioid's 'Slow Dance', a King Deluxe release from 2011.
Paul White has been on fire recently, working with rappers such as Danny Brown, Homeboy Sandman, and Sean Price. Bit slow on this video by the looks of it but it's from his collaboration with one of our favourite Grime emcees.
Been a while since we posted anybody else's dope videos up here so...
We've always had love for the Seclusiasis label on here but this video from Warsnare and Fille de la Lune properly blew me away. Not heard the EP yet but I'm off to get a copy as soon as I've written this post.
Dark moody swagged out business from Black Dahlia, a dope new project from one of our favourite producers, Blue Daisy and rapper Hey!Zeus.
This is probably our favourite thing right now. Pure sunshine vibes from our South Wales compadres, Metabeats, Vanity Jay and the Associated Minds family. 80 Boogie Meets 90s RNB, Meets Future Funk... and that's just the video. Complete win.
This SOPHIE track hasn't got a video to go with it as such but as their only sending out YouTube promos and I'm feeling it, here it is.
The artist formerly known as 8Bitch from her forthcoming EP on Svetlana Industries. Before this drops they also have a release from BNJMN which is out tomorrow, if you can't wait til then however you can pre-ordr a copy from here now and recieve 2 of the tracks straight away. We also have a track that was bumped from the EP due to the master recording getting lost but which still stands alone as a great track.
In our excitement for getting this video out we accidentally posted a password protected version... sorry for that folks, here's the proper version in all it's twisted glory!
Make sure you pick up a copy of Kraddy's new EP Labyrinth, we're currently on the search to find a set of speakers big enough to do it true justice. Maybe we need to head over to Low End Theory for the launch party tomorrow for the full experience, spare plane tickets anyone?
Forget Delia Smith or Nigella Lawson, we bring you two cookery programmes with a difference. First Oreo Jones cooks up a mean chilli whilst Pro-Ef puts your post Halloween pumpkins to good use with his Ice Cream recipe.
Scoop vanilla ice cream into a bowl and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes to soften. Add remaining ingredients to bowl and beat with electric beaters just until combined. Freeze until firm, then scoop and enjoy. Serves about 5.
