Big shout to Zwolf for schooling us on the pathmusick free MP3 label for crazy glitched up technoish experimental music. Have to say though, for us his stuff stands headbutt and shoulder charge above the rest. Have a few tracks which we're sitting tight on for the moment, including killer collaborations with Welsh Hip-hop legend Junior Disprol from Dead Residents and Martin Carr from the Boo Radleys (aka Brave Captain). But for now, check these absolute gems from the Forgotten Mnemonics EP...

Zwolf was once signed to Sound-Ink who released the Viktor Vaughn LP, and MF Doom would indeed sound dope riding on this one. Unfortunately there's been no collaborations just yet.

This next one features Cardiff Cabaret duo Mr & Mrs Clark who one reviewer once likened to 'Terry and June on crack'.

Despite some strong artists and scenes all over the world, LA is still our favourite home for Electronic Bass artists approaching things from a Hip-hop mind set. One of the key players in our reasoning like this is Troublemaker, a man who surely knows where a computer's funk button sits.

We first came across him through his work with Tatelarock, and we've put up a few of his remixes over the past few months. However he's just uploaded a shed load of his killer remixes which gives a perfect chance to either remind you or introduce you to why we're feeling him so much. You can grab them all over at his MySpace page but here's a selection of our favourites.

This True Skool classic gets a phat and filthy redub which we have been rinsing hard in the clubs, even when it's not quite appropriate...

This massive Brazillian tune gets even bigger with a trip to LA...

(YSI) Bonde Do Role - Gasolina (SK87 Remix Troublemaker Edit)

One of our favourite soul tracks of last year from one of the most under-rated live acts out there flips into a gnarly electro-rock skanker...

The fellas enter close to the realms of Dubstep with this dirty Digi-Dub rub...

(YSI) Tatelarock & Troublemaker - The End Is Near

Here's a couple of his Mixtapes which give a good insight into what influences make their way into his remixes. If your DJ doesn't turn up to the party then whack these on and you'll be guaranteed a roof raiser.
