Representing them big, bass heavy Bwomp Beats over on the West Coast, Ev-1 hit us up with his latest Boomstep Mixtape, that kind of speaks for itself really. A well crafted mix of tracks stretching across current to classic, underground to unheard from some of our favourites such as An-ten-nae, Bassnectar, Akira Kiteshi, Mochipet, Rusko, Raffertie, Jayou, EPROM, DZ and Stagga (full tracklisting and download here).

Forensics just dropped us his latest Dubstep mix, which as always is proving to be a good companion to a late night working stint. The mix changes from dark and moody to bright and reflective to downright dirty but Forensics always manages to maintain a solid depth to his mixes and this is no exception. Check it out and keep an eye out for his forthcoming album on Digital Sin.

The mighty Tomb Crew just hit up their blog with a new track from DZ, the San Franciscan based Canadian Dubstep maestro who has a load of heavy new tracks and remixes forthcoming that you should definitely be keeping your eyes out for. ‘Be Cool’ could well be the tracks warning message to itself as it tries (unsuccessfully) to contain the aggravated electromagnetic waves seething out of it in a serious bout of robo-rage.
