Been listening to a stunning new album from Débruit, a long time favourite of this blog, and Sudanese-born singer Alsarah. This is a perfect little taster to the kind of delights you might find inside.

There are more reasons than we can be bothered to give you why you should scoot on over to Bandcamp and pick up a copy of dÉbruit's new EP Heart Beats 4 Haiti. First up Pete Concrete gives us an insight into his leftside listening habits which shows some of the inspiration between the top choices he makes for the releases on his own Eat Concrete imprint (Take, Herrmutt Lobby, Bretzel Zoo, Aardvarck, etc); Next we have many a twisted turn in Lazyboy's (fyi - not our hombre Rob Da Bank, Dan Carey or the dude from Aqua) mix of 'Future Step, Cosmic Garage and Chip Tune Grime'; and finally El-Mahdy R brings us our first mixtape from Turkey which is more in the straight up Dubstep realm but which, like all the mixes today stays warm and grown up but with more than a hint of youthful mischeviousness and just a touch of menace.

Our man Metabeats has been mightily busy of late. As well as the soon to come Sledgehammer Kisses EP with Mudmowth and the new album from his clique Squid Ninjaz for which he's provided a number of beats, and even a few rhymes, he's also been setting dancefloors on fire with the Chesus & Rodski stuff and is working on a new solo album, for which information is scarce but we do know that Elucid makes an appearance or two in there some place and no doubt some of the other Squid Ninjaz and Associated Minds family will find there way in there too.

On top of all this he's found time to drop us this small slice of Dillafied future soul, new beat generation type business. You can grab the wav here or a 320 MP3 below.
